Prime Minister's residence used last in 1948.
Château Laurier
This hotel was to have its grand opening on April 26th of 1912. Charles Melville Hays who was the chairman of The Grand Trunk Railway, commissioned to have this hotel built. He passed on the fourth day of the Titanic's journey, at 11:40 P.M. of April 14 when the Titanic struck an iceberg and sank. Later, June 12th, Sir Wilfred Laurier who was the Prime Minister who helped to secure the site to build this hotel was in attendance when they had a down-played grand opening.
The Central Chambers Building
Built in 1890–1891 according to the plans of John James Browne as an most notable example in Canada of the Queen Anne Revival Vistorian style old commercial design from the late 1800s. In the far background is Parliament Hill built in 1859 and with additions finished in 1927, currently it is being renovated for $1 Billion starting in 2002 and finishing in 2020 (Phew, that's alot $)

What would I do if I could?
Buy this 16' Airstream, pull behind my little car and just travel the world.
Completely carefree, I have no idea were the money would come from to fill the tank, pay for food, or live, it would be just there (endless)!
(pinch myself back to reality)
What would you do with absolutely no obligations?

To my Gentle Giant, Simba!
When I got him he was shy and hide in the basement for days. I read that if you fed a cat by hand he would eventually warm up to you. So I did and Simba became my trusted buddy. I would relish the moments when he would sleep beside me on the bed, that was big for Simba, he liked to be on his own. When I was gardening outside he'd be by my side playing with my weed discards. When I sat in the morning on the deck with my coffee, he'd sit beside me and we would enjoy the morning sounds together. When I'd walk the dog "Dutch" he'd try to follow, to which I started having to put him in the house. He was quiet and shy nobody could touch him fully but me. He trusted me, cause I took the time to feed him by hand and wait for him to come to me..... I miss him so much and I hope he knows I will love and remember him forever.
